[NYCInfoLaw] Reading Group #1: Google Books Settlement

The first reading group of the semester is scheduled for 7:00 pm on
September 16 at Columbia Law School, William and June Warren Hall
(1125 Amsterdam Ave) Room Number 103.  Reading groups are an
opportunity for students from all of our member groups to get together
and discuss topics related to the intersection between intellectual
property, technology, privacy, communications, and the law.  The
subject matter for this reading group will be the Google Books
Settlement (materials will be forwarded next week).

As always, food will be provided, so please RSVP to Kate Vershov,
Columbia SLST President, if you will be coming and if you have dietary
restrictions at yekaterina.vershov at law.columbia.edu.  Please note,
however, that even if you don't RSVP, you are still welcome to come
and eat.

Also, after reading group is drinking group (read: going to a local
bar), which all attendees are of course welcome to attend.
