*Functionality: At the Crossroads of IP, *which will be held on *Friday,
November 20th, 2009* is free and open to the public and will feature a
diverse cross-section of speakers, including:* Roger M. Milgrim*, author of
*Milgrim on Trade Secrets; *Israeli IP scholar *Orit Fischman Afori,* who
William Patry has called "a prolific and probing writer and thinker";

Dabney* of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP.  We will begin the
day discussing the implications of* In re Bilski*, a case on business method
patents currently before the U.S. Supreme Court.  We will then turn our
attention to the functional aspects of design and finish the day with an
exploration of how trade secret law and other forms of IP can be used to
