[NYCInfoLaw] Major IP Event Yesterday, and a non-event

For those who were excitedly waiting to wakeup and read the new Google
Books Settlement, I'm sure you have learned that your hopes have been
dashed and the parties have delayed until Friday.

In other news, Bilski was argued in the Supreme Court.  Much of the
coverage was pretty bad, focusing on how the Judge's were skeptical of
Bilski's patent, instead of focusing on their views on which test
should have been applied (Abstract Idea v. Machine-Transformation).
For those that want to read it, the transcript of the argument is
attached.
