          Marcia Paul is a CLS alumna and partner at Davis Wright
          Tremaine LLP. Ms. Paul’s extensive and distinguished career in
          copyright litigation includes representing some of the biggest names
          in publishing, broadcasting and media. She will speak about her
          experiences as a partner in one of the nation’s leading law firms and
          highlight the trends and issues she sees in intellectual property
          litigation. Pizza lunch will be provided.

          MICHAEL HARRINGTON: COPYRIGHT MUSICOLOGY

          Michael Harrington has come to Cardozo for the past two
          years and we keep on inviting him back because he gives some of the
          most entertaining and interesting talks of the year. He is a
          musicologist and is a expert witness in many infringement
          trials. Even though he works with copyright, he is a real
          "music guy." In addition to making a bunch of points on copyright,
          he spins a lot of music and gives a great presentation.

          PRIVACY: THE LIMITS OF ANONYMIZATION AND THE POWER OF
          REIDENTIFICATION

          Paul Ohm is an Associate Professor of Law at the
          University of Colorado Law School. He writes in the areas of
          information privacy, computer crime law, intellectual property, and
          criminal procedure. Through his scholarship and outreach, Professor
          Ohm is leading efforts to build new interdisciplinary bridges between
          law and computer science. Before joining the University of Colorado,
          in 2006, Professor Ohm worked for the U.S. Department of Justice's
          Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section as an Honors Program
          trial attorney. Prior to law school, Professor Ohm worked for several
          years as a computer programmer and network systems administrator, and
          before that he earned undergraduate degrees in computer science and
          electrical engineering from Yale University. Even today, he continues
          to write thousands of lines of python and perl code each year.
