Our question:
Does the government have the right to compel you to decrypt
incriminating (or any other) information? Sebastien Boucher's case
might give us an answer, after a few more appeals. Please read at
least In re Boucher, 2007 WL 4246473 (D.Vt. Nov. 29, 2007) [1] and In
re Grand Jury Subpoena to Sebastien Boucher, 2009 WL 424718, (D.Vt.
Feb. 19, 2009) [2]. Both are short (and linked).

If you have more time, you might skim dueling papers from the stone
age (1996) for some background:
1996 U. Chi. Legal F. 171 (e-mail me if you have trouble finding a copy)
and

When: 6:30 p.m. Wed. 4/1
Where: William & June Warren Hall (Amsterdam Ave. between 115th and
116th), Room 101
